Meet Our Flock

We sell farm fresh eggs straight to the consumer.

At Bootsy Garden, we cherish each member of our feathered family. Our commitment to sustainable living and animal welfare is underscored by our efforts to become a certified farm under the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP), ensuring our birds enjoy a healthy, natural environment. Our adherence to NPIP guidelines reflects our dedication to the highest biosecurity and health standards. Regular health checks and preventive care ensure our flock not only survives but thrives.

Chickens:
Our chickens thrive in a free-range setting, foraging naturally across our land. This not only enriches the quality of their eggs but also supports our farm’s ecosystem through effective pest control and soil fertilization. We specialize in breeding Wyandotte Chicks.

Ducks:
Our diverse duck population includes elegant Ancona and Cayuga breeds, as well as serene Muscovy ducks. These birds are integral to our farm's balance, offering both pest control and their delightful presence. We value them for their contributions to the farm’s beauty and biodiversity rather than as a source of meat. We specialized in breeding our Muscovy ducks.

Soon, you will have the opportunity to add to your own flock this fall and next spring, as we will be offering Muscovy ducklings and various chicks for sale. Raised with care and expertise, these birds are ideal for enhancing any homestead. Keep an eye on this page for regular updates about our flock. From seasonal changes to exciting new additions, we invite you to join us in the ongoing story of our birds’ lives at Bootsy Garden.
