Bootsy Garden Goat Sales and Pricing Policy

Sales Policy

At Bootsy Garden, we pride ourselves on raising goats that are not only high in quality but also happy and healthy. Our sales process ensures that every goat finds a suitable home while maintaining the integrity of our breeding program.

Reservations and Deposits: A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a goat. This deposit secures your place for selecting a goat from the upcoming kiddings. If no goat is available from the chosen pairing, your deposit will be fully refunded. If you opt-out after a goat becomes available, your deposit will be forfeited but may be transferred to another available goat.

Pick-Up and Boarding: Goats must be picked up within 24 hours of the agreed-upon date. Buyers must schedule a specific pick-up time and arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late without prior communication, the scheduled appointment will be forfeited, and the sale will be canceled without refund, including any deposits made. We value your time, and we ask that you respect ours—we do not have the flexibility to wait for buyers outside their scheduled appointment.

If specific arrangements for bottle-kids are required, these must be communicated before birth. A boarding fee will be applied if a goat is not picked up within 24 hours of the agreed-upon pick-up date, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.

Breeding Rights and Resale: All goats are sold with breeding rights unless otherwise specified. If you decide to sell your goat in the future, Bootsy Garden retains the right to purchase the goat back at the same price you paid. This ensures that our goats are part of ethical and responsible breeding programs. We retain the right to draw straws of semen from any buck sold as an intact buck for breeding purposes.

Health Guarantee: All goats leave our farm in excellent health. We provide detailed care guidelines and are available for consultation to assist with any questions or concerns about your new goat. Remember, the ongoing health and well-being of the goat becomes the responsibility of the buyer upon departure.

Documentation and Certifications: For goats traveling out-of-state, a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) is required and is the buyer’s responsibility. We ensure all necessary health checks are completed for a smooth and compliant transfer.

Pricing Policy:

Our pricing reflects the quality, genetic merit, and potential of our goats. Participation in ADGA Performance Programs and our commitment to excellent breeding practices are factors in setting our prices.
